Ingredients needed for making Onion Pakoda
Gram Flour – 2 cups
Rice flour – 1 handful
Onions – 4
Green Chillies-2
Ginger- A small piece
A sprig of Curry leaves
Salt as requires
Oil for frying
Ghee- 1 tsp.
Baking Soda- ½ tsp
Method for making Onion Pakoda
1. Cut the onions lengthwise into thin pieces.

2. Grind green chillies and ginger in a mixie.
3. In a broad vessel make a paste of ghee and baking soda, add the onions, curry leaves and the ground paste. Sprinkle little oil and mix well.
4. Add salt and the 2 flours, mix well, add little water mix well take care not to add more water. You should just sprinkle the water.
6. Serve hot with tomato sauce
