Chettinad Sweet Suyyam | Suzhiyam | Inippu Seeyam Recipe

Sweet Suyyam or Susiyam is a traditional sweet dish made during festivals in South India. This is made using chana dal and jaggery stuffed inside batter made using urad dal and raw rice. I have already shared the Suyyam recipe using Maida. Here I have prepared a batter which you can also use to make Masala Cheeyam. It has a crispy outer texture and soft inner texture. You can also use green gram dal instead of chana dal.
