Wheat Dosa | Godhumai Dosa | Instant Wheat Flour Dosa

Wheat Rava Dosa is a healthy instant dosa recipe for good for hypertensive and diabetic people. Wheat is rich in fibre and so good for diabetic people.  This is also good for pregnant women and growing children. Godhumai dosa can be made within minutes as it does not need any fermentation. Wheat dosa tastes good with Peanut chutney or Pudina chutney.

Ingredients for making Wheat Dosa

Whole wheat flour - 1 cup
Rava - 1/4 cup
Buttermilk - 1 cup
Onion - 1
Green chillies - 2
Ginger - finely chopped
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp.
Urad dal - 1 tsp.
A sprig of curry leaves
Salt to taste.

How to make Wheat Rava Dosa

1. Cut the onions, ginger  and green chillies into fine pieces.

2. Mix the whole wheat flour and Rava with buttermilk to make a dosa batter consistency. Allow this to stand for 15 to 20 minutes.

3. Add the chopped onions, green chillies and ginger to the batter and mix well. If the batter is too thick you can add water. Here in this recipe I have not added onions. 

4. Heat the non-stick dosa tawa and pour the batter in the center, spread this to a dosa.  Cook both sides of the dosa by flipping over.

5. Remove this wheat dosa from the tawa serve hot with chutney.
