Ingredients for making Chettinad Special Paruppu Thuvayal

Moong dhal -1/2 cup

Grated coconut- 3 tbsp

Red chillies-2

Garlic-4

Procedure for Chettinad Special Paruppu Thuvayal

1. Take oil in a kadai and fry the red chillies

2. Next add the moong dhal fry till this turns golden brown in color.

3. Now tranfer this in a mixer add the grated coconut, salt and garlic and grind well to a smooth paste.

4. Paruppu Thuvayal is ready and can be served with hot rice, idli and dosa.
