Ingredients needed for making Rava Puttu
Naga Rava - 1/2kg.
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Ghee - 100gm
powdered Sugar - 100gm
Cashews - 8
Elachi - 1 tsp.
A pinch of salt
Method for making Rava Puttu
Heat ghee in a pan and fry cashews then add the Rava and fry till you get a nice aroma. Transfer the roasted Rava in awide plate, sprinkle little salt water and mix well without any lumps. Steam cook this in greased Idli plates for 15 minutes. Add sugar, grated coconut and elachi to the steamed Rava and mix well.
Now the Rava Puttu is ready to be served.
